Recreation Department
Welcome to the City of Brook Park's official recreation and activities page. Our vibrant community, rooted in rich history and futuristic ambitions, celebrates unity, progress, and the endless possibilities of recreation.
Vision for Recreation
Traditionally, Brook Park has been a hub for youth sports like baseball, soccer, and football. Today, under the guidance of our current administration, our recreation spectrum is expanding. We're introducing adaptive sports for children with disabilities, including activities like adaptive baseball. But sports is just the beginning. We're also weaving in diverse activities like guitar lessons, cake decorating classes, and yoga.
Recreation & Community Engagement
At Brook Park, recreation isn't just an activity; it's a community catalyst. The Brook Park Recreation Center stays bustling from dawn to dusk. Our offerings have expanded, seeing a revenue surge of 30% due to additional hours. We are proud to accept the following health insurance providers: Silver Sneakers, Optum Wellness, Silver & Fit, and Active & Fit.
