About

Embracing History and Legacy

Brook Park has been a monumental part of Ohio’s story. In the 1950s, Ford established a significant presence, shaping the industrial and economic landscape. More recently, we're home to the NASA Glenn Research Center, pioneering aerospace technology for over eight decades. Our website intends to celebrate this legacy while looking forward to collaborative programs with these esteemed institutions.

City's Ambition

Despite spanning a mere 7.52 square miles, Brook Park's prominence in Ohio is unmatched. Our history, combined with associations with giants like Ford and NASA, crafts a unique identity we wish to spotlight. Our ambition? A pristine, user-friendly, and cutting-edge website that tells our story, past, present, and future.

Community At The Heart

Brook Park beams with pride in its community involvement. From partnerships with the National Guard, Marine Reserve Center, to NASA Glenn Research Center, our endeavors to foster community interaction remain unwavering. Be it events with the National Guard or initiatives with the Marine Reserve Center, community building is our North Star.

City's Historical Milestones and Redevelopment

Brook Park matured into a city in 1960 and witnessed an era of prosperity. Though the recession in 2008 and subsequent challenges at Ford posed hurdles, our spirit never waned. We've embarked on a redevelopment journey, securing substantial grant funds, and reimagining our urban scape. From tearing down older structures to breathing life into abandoned spaces, we're shaping our future, brick by brick.

Leadership Philosophy

Led by our Mayor, a proud Navy Seabee veteran, our administration is characterized by efficiency and objective-driven planning. The Mayor’s leadership resonates with action and tangible results.

Vision, Redevelopment & Future

Brook Park envisions proactive growth. Our website is more than a digital footprint; it’s a portal showcasing our journey and our ambitions. From our history, challenges, resilience to our aspirations, we present our heart and soul.

Housing Program & Growth

We're ushering in an era of rejuvenation. Supporting our older residents in transitioning to amenity-rich communities, we're opening doors for new families, breathing fresh energy into Brook Park.

Closing Note

Thank you for being a part of this discussion. Your insights and contributions shape Brook Park. We're excited for the future and look forward to many more collaborative dialogues.
